Based in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Earth Harbor Naturals is a new skincare line centered around high-performing ocean nutrients and active botanicals.

FOUNDER STORY
Earth Harbor Founder, Ali, is a St. Simons Island native, herbalist, and health scientist, and created the original products out of her treehouse kitchen. All products are still made in small batches, "with love and mermaid vibes" by beach beauty minimalists.

Ali recently shared the raw + real story of how Earth Harbor began on Instagram - @earthharbor. I'm copying an excerpt over, because it shows the power of perseverance, determination, community, and how shopping small can truly transform people's lives. In addition, it's always helpful to dispel myths that you need a lot of connections, experience, money, etc. to get a new business off the ground. 

"First: Earth Harbor is a small, independently woman-owned business that started 18+ months ago using $2500 that I’d worked hard to save. I had no connections in the beauty industry nor former knowledge of how it worked at all. Earth Harbor is entirely grassroots with no funding, no loans, no independent wealth anywhere to help out, and profitable since day 1 (aka the day of my first farmer’s market!). 🌱 .
