My curiosity was piqued when I watched my ultra health conscious, work out obsessed, clean label focused, calorie counting friend sprinkle chocolate chips and candy onto popcorn. When I asked why?, the rationale was clear, "Hey, I gotta indulge somewhere! Popcorn is the perfect treat since I'm saving my daily calories for something special, and I can eat a lot more of it!"
Popcorn is a well-established snack for the health conscious. But it's not enough; it's boring. After all, who really wants popcorn to be their only indulgence, and, seriously can anyone really ignore their sweet tooth in its entirety?
